Who are we?

Our love for the performing arts began right here in Whittier—from Junior Theater productions at the Centre Theater to school plays and musicals that sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling and creativity. Those early experiences shaped who we are, eventually leading us to direct, produce, and create independent theatrical works as adults.

Inspired by the opportunities we were given, we have volunteered with local public school theater programs and remain committed to supporting arts education through Youngwood Collective. We believe every young person deserves access to the transformative power of the arts, regardless of their background or resources.

The opportunities we found through youth theater and school arts programs laid the foundation for our creative lives. Without them, we would not be the artists, storytellers, and community members we are today. Supporting and expanding access to those same opportunities is a cornerstone of Youngwood Collective's mission.
